Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, case number, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company that supplies that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its response. Lafayette County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained long enough to review and answer it. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Do not send confidential case details, protected identifiers, or documents through a general message.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers and service providers may receive routine technical and usage information, including:
- The device IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when available
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help measure traffic, popular content, and points where visits end. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although doing so may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Information received from visitors or their devices may be used for these purposes:
- Operating, maintaining, and improving site performance
- Routing a search request to the selected partner service
- Measuring which Lafayette County resources visitors use
- Finding abuse, outages, and technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Lafayette County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Lafayette County case records or personal docket information. Its content describes official access routes, including Search ARCourts, the Lafayette County Circuit Clerk, and the responsible District Court clerk. Official court-record access is governed by Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 and other applicable law or court orders. Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-101 et seq., applies to public records within its scope but should not be assumed to replace the judiciary’s court-record access rules. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes that appear on the site. A query submitted through one of those tools is handled under that provider’s privacy terms, retention practices, and disclosure rules. Lafayette County Court Docket does not control those policies. Review the provider’s policy before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arkansas court portals, clerk directories, legal-aid resources, government pages, or commercial search services. The destination’s privacy policy governs after a visitor leaves this site. Read it before sending personal information.
Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure visits across sites and select ads. That processing occurs on the provider’s systems and is subject to its rules.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- A search partner processing a query
- An analytics provider measuring traffic and performance
- An advertising network serving ads
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under valid legal authority
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information under the site’s control. No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute protection. The site therefore cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, a deletion request may be submitted so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Your Data Rights
No broad Arkansas privacy statute is claimed here to grant a particular set of visitor rights. Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 concerns court records, and the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act concerns public records within its legal scope; neither is presented as a general consumer-data law for this private website. Visitors may still ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held by the site
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate
- Delete personal information, subject to legal retention duties
- Opt out of processing where an available control permits it
Rights can vary based on residence and applicable law. A request may require reasonable verification before action is taken.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices, services, or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted here with its effective date, and continued use after publication is subject to the updated policy.
